Hey there, I’m Katie.

I believe each of us is already wonderful - it’s just how we were made! However, I completely understand wanting to improve your nutrition, help your kids establish positive relationships with food, ditch the diet cycle, or resolve an unhealthy relationship with food, your body or exercise. I’m a Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist that can help you find the balance between food and life.

My Nutrition Philosophy

I became a Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist in 2019. I learned the same stuff all of us do who study nutrition… calories in, calories out, how to make a meal plan, how to help someone stick to a diet to reach their ‘dream weight’. But as I learned this in school and practiced it during my internship, something didn’t feel quite right.

Then I learned about and started diving into the world of intuitive eating and the idea that “health” doesn’t just look one certain way. It turns out, dieting doesn’t work in the long-run, up-and-down weight cycling is bad for long-term health, and no one is happy living with such restrictions. So I decided to continue learning and change my philosophy to something that felt right to me and that I felt confident would help clients heal their relationships with food and their bodies.

Whether you are an athlete wanting to rethink your fueling strategy, a mom wanting to help your kids be explorative eaters, a teen struggling with food and body image, or somewhere in between… let’s chat. I want to help you simplify your relationship with food.
